CATHEDRAL CITY — November 2, 2026. Cathedral City’s tourism and events calendar lists two free community activities for Saturday, November 7, 2026: a morning paper shredding event and Fields of Valor, a Veterans Day observance.

Document shredding in the morning

The city’s calendar lists a free Community Shredding Event from 8 to 9 a.m. Such events are designed to help residents destroy sensitive papers; check the organizer’s item and quantity restrictions before arriving.

A public gathering honoring veterans

Fields of Valor is scheduled 9 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater and Festival Lawn, 68526 Avenida Lalo Guerrero. The program is organized with Cathedral City Evening Rotary Club and advertises music, food vendors and flag displays.

Two locations, two sets of rules

The community shred and commemorative festival are not the same event, and the presence of food vendors does not make every product free. Use the official calendar to confirm access, parking and any last-minute changes.
